19 parade contingents, led by Parade Commander Deputy Commandant 1^st NAP, Akihito Sumi, NPS, took part in the Independent Day celebration at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on 15^th August, 2024. The Second-in-Command was Dy. SP (Prob), PHQ, Mhalezhunuo Chielie, NPS.

The Parade Contingents consists of 13 AR Bn.78^th Bn. CRPF, 37^th Bn. BSF, DEF, Kohima, 4^th NAP Bn, 10^th NAP (IR) Bn, 15^th NAP (IR), Manipur Police contingent, Ex-Servicemen, Home Guards & Civil Defence & SDRF, NCC, Bharat Scouts & Guides, G. Rio School, Bethel Higher Secondary School, Government High School, PWD, 13^th Assam Rifles Pipe Band, Nagaland Police PTS Brass Band Nagaland Police 15^th NAP (IR) Mahila Pipe Band and Nagaland Auxiliary Brass Band.
