On the auspicious occasion of the 78th Independence Day, 2024, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio announced the Governor's Gold medal and Governor's Commendation Certificate to the following officers and staff of different departments for their dedication and contributions in their respective fields, at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on the 15th of August 2024.
Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio handed over the Governor’s Gold Medal to Dr. Sentitula, IFS, DFO Mokokchung which was announced on the Republic Day 2024.
During the program, Police Medal for meritorious service and Governor’s Gold Medal was also announced on the occasion of Independence Day 2024.
