Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department (Personal Information Management System Cell) has informed that the State Government has issued instructions from time to time for registration of Government employees in PIMS with the latest instructions issued vide OM NO.PAR/PIMS- 10/2017 dated 4/3/2022 and OM NO.PAR/PIMS-2/2015 dated 23/4/2024. 

However, it is observed that many Government employees engaged under State Sponsored Schemes (SSS) and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS)are not registered in PIMS. As a result, they are not covered by the Chief Minister's Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) and thereby, they are not able to avail the health benefits provided by the State Government for its employees since registration in CMHIS has to be done on the basis of the employee's PIMS code.

Therefore, in the interest of covering all Government employees under CMHIS, all Departments are directed to mandatorily register their SSS and CSS employees in PIMS if not done already.

The Departments are reminded to submit the application for registration in PIMS along with the requisite documents strictly as per the instructions provided vide OM NO.PAR/PIMS- 10/2017 dated 4/3/2022 and OM NO.PAR/PIMS-2/2015 dated 23/4/2024. Further, the submission of the applications for registration should be made within one month from the date of issue of this OM.
