Deputy Commissioner, Niuland, Sara S. Jamir has reiterated for the information and strict compliance of all villages, landowners and general public under Niuland district settled along the stretch of the purposed Two-Lane Road from Showuba to Ghotovi village (Showuba connecting Guzunyu-Pughoboto-Noklak-Pangsha) that the Right of Way (RoW) dimension is 18 (Eighteen) meters in built up/habitat area and 24 (Twenty Four) meters along the uninhabited area from the centre of the existing road on both sides.
Therefore, all concerned villages and landowners are directed to refrain from any kind of land filling, construction of new structures (both temporary and permanent) and encroachment within the RoW. Further, no form of compensation shall be paid for any new structures within the RoW w.e.f. the issue of this office Order No. DCN/LR-20/WHNH/303 dated 31st May 2023.
