Four-day Inter-School Sports Competition under Aghunato sub-division commenced on 26th March 2025 at Aghunato Ground, with ADC, Aghunato, D. Robin gracing the opening ceremony as the special guest. The competition was held under the theme “Bridging Schools, Building Champions.”
Altogether, eight (8) schools are participating in the competition with almost thousand students taking part in the event which will be held in various sports disciplines such as football, badminton, volleyball and relay race.
ADC, D. Robin exhorting the students during the opening ceremony, encouraged the students to have the spirit of resilience and teamwork, and demonstrate perseverance and sportsmanship throughout the competition. He also expressed gratitude to all Head of Offices under Aghunato sub-division and other well-wishers for the support extended towards this event.
The competition is organized by Aghunato Town Students’ Union (ATSU) in collaboration with Head of Offices, Aghunato Sub-Division, and supported by Nagaland Super League (NSL). Nitsato K. Yepthomi, President ATSU delivered the welcome address, and oath taking was administered by Awoka Awomi, Sports Secretary, ATSU.
