Advisor for School Education, SCERT, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, inaugurated the new building construction of Government Higher Secondary School, Akuluto, in the presence of Advisor, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, Kazheto Kinimi, on 16th May 2025.

S. Akani Zhimo PGT chaired the program. A short speech and appreciation to the school was delivered by Advisor for Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, Kazheto Kinimi, and the Additional Director of School Education, Nagaland, Dina Pandhu, during the function. 

Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, in his speech, appreciated the School for the increasing number of students enrolled in the last 2 -3 years. 

In his speech, GB Hosheto Awomi also highlighted the grievances faced by the managing authorities in regards to fencing of the school. He emphasised that the encroachment of the government property reshapes the size and length of the government property; therefore, fencing should be done at the earliest to save the property of government. Earlier, the programme began with a prayer by Pastor Akheto ATBC, followed by the inaugural program prayer by Mulato Kinimi, Pastor NCRC Akuluto.
