As part of the Nationwide IEC Campaign and Benefit Saturation Activities under "Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan", an Awareness Campaign was conducted on 24th June 2024, at Wapher Village, Shamator.
The event focused on educating women and adolescent girls on safety and security schemes, facilitating PMMVY registration, promoting menstrual hygiene, and included a visit to Anganwadi Centres to monitor and support to early childhood care services. Sessions were held on One Stop Centre (OSC), Women Helpline (181), Domestic Violence Act provisions, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and PMMVY Anganwadi workers delivered health talks on menstrual hygiene practices.
Sanitary pads were distributed free of cost to adolescent girls and women and IEC materials were provided to reinforce hygiene practices.
