Executive Engineer (E) Electrical Division Kohima, Er. Shiludi Longkumer has issued a press release informing all the consumers that there will be an emergency shutdown of 11KV Secretariat and 11KV Thizama feeders along Civil Secretariat Road on the 28th June 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This is necessitated to facilitate relocation of double pole structure as the structure is in precarious state caused by landslide due to incessant rain.

Power supply to the following areas would be disrupted during such period:

Secretariat Area, Lower Bayavü, Khikha-Rüleizou, Merema, and Thizama

However, the Department would make every effort to restore power supply before the stipulated time.

All consumers in the affected areas have been requested to take necessary precautions and plan accordingly. Also, it is requested to extend cooperation and bear with the inconveniences during the shutdown period.
