The State Cabinet has approved the constitution of a 7 member Job Reservation Commission, which will be headed by a person with integrity and administrative experience from a retired senior IAS Officer of the Nagaland cadre. 

The composition of the Commission will include the following:

1. One Member each to be nominated by:

i. Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organisation (ENPO)

ii. Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) 

iii. Tenyimi Union Nagaland (TUN)

2. Three official Members:

i.  Administrative Head of P&AR Department

ii.  Home Commissioner

iii.  Administrative Head of Law & Justice Department

The respective Tribal Apex Bodies - ENPO, CNTC, and TUN - have been requested to nominate credible and qualified individuals to represent their respective communities as Members of the Commission. The nominations are to be communicated to the Government at the earliest for necessary action.
