The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, has issued an order restricting the movement of commercial taxis in Kohima town as part of measures to streamline and improve traffic management.

As per the order, commercial taxis shall not be allowed to enter from Lower PWD Junction and exit from Middle Midland Junction near Oking Hospital between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on all days, with immediate effect.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that the order has been issued in the public interest and appealed to the general public to extend cooperation with the authorities for its successful implementation.
