Kekhrie Krotho, in collaboration with the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), is set to host the 4th Edition of the Folk Fusion Festival as an international event titled the “Nagaland World Folk Music Festival” on November 6 and 7, 2025, at Khuzama Village, Kohima.

The festival, which began in 2018 to preserve and promote Naga culture and traditional music, has grown into one of the largest cultural celebrations in Nagaland and the Northeast. This year’s edition will feature country partners from Thailand and France, marking its expansion onto the global stage.

Over the years, the festival has showcased the diversity and creativity of Naga tribes through folk song and folk fusion competitions. It was also recognized among the Top 5 events in India out of 500 festivals nationwide.

With the upcoming international edition, Kekhrie Krotho and TaFMA aim to further celebrate Nagaland’s rich heritage while fostering cross-cultural exchange and global appreciation for indigenous music and art.
