Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B. Henok Buchem has issued a notification stating that, in pursuance of a Government Notification and the subsequent constitution of the District Level Committee for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres in Kohima District, all coaching centres operating within the jurisdiction of Kohima District must mandatorily apply for registration on or before February 10, 2026. The application form for registration will be available at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.
As per the “Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres”, any establishment or coaching centre providing tuition, instruction or guidance to more than 20 (twenty) students for any study programme, competitive examinations or academic support is required to apply for registration. In the case of coaching centres having multiple branches, each branch shall be treated as a separate coaching centre, and a separate application must be submitted for the registration of each branch.
