On the Ongoing Phase-II of the Eighth Session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly at NLA Hall, Kohima on 26th March 2026, Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr. Neiphiu Rio,  presented to the House  copies of the Report of the Fourth Nagaland State Finance Commission (2026-27 to 2030-31) Part I (Urban Local Bodies) and the Explanatory Memorandum as to the action taken on the recommendations of the Commission in its report, report of the Fourth Nagaland State Finance Commission (1st April, 2024 to 31st March, 2026) Part II (Rural Local Bodies) and the Explanatory Memorandum as to the action taken on the recommendations of the Commission in its report and Gender Budget Statement for the year 2026-27. 
    Chief Minister, Dr.  Neiphiu Rio also presented four reports which included: Report No. 2 of 2025 (Civil and Commercial) Social (including Local Governments Audit), Economic, General and Revenue Sectors for the year ended 31st March 2023; Finance Accounts (Volume-I) 2024-2025; Finance Accounts (Volume-II) 2024-2025 and Appropriation Accounts 2024-2025.
    Dr. Rio also presented the Review of the Trends in Receipts and Expenditure for the First, Second and Third quarter of the year 2025-26, as required under Section 11 of the Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, 2005.
    Dr. Neiphiu Rio, presented the Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2025 – 2026.
    Dr. Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland and Minister-in-Charge of Finance presented the Regularization of Excess Expenditure for the Year 2018-2019 (As recommended by the PAC in its 134th Report 2024-25).
    Dr. Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland and Minister-in-Charge of Finance presented the Regularization of Excess Expenditure for the Year 2019-2020 (As recommended by the PAC in its 137th Report 2024-25).
    NLA Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer further informed the house that the discussion and voting will be taken up on 27 March 2026.
