DPDB Phek held its monthly meeting at DC's conference Hall, Phek on 14th May 2026, and deliberated on the agenda of the ongoing Construction of 2-Lane road under Package-II & V of Kohima-Jessami 29-NH, where representatives of road construction officials working under Contractor - M/S Kaushal Sharma in JV with M/S Prachi Infra & Roads Pvt. Ltd were present at the meeting.

Advisor, Civil Administration Works Division & Taxes and Chairman DPDB Phek, Kudecho Khamo and MLA, Kuzholuzo Azo Nienu attended the meeting and expressed their concern over the delay in completion of the stretches under Package -II & V.

DC & Vice Chairman, DPDB Phek, Rhosietho, NCS and SP Phek, Dr. Kaur IPS also expressed their opinion for early completion of these two packages at the earliest.

The House directed the Road Construction Company to immediately start the remaining works and to complete the road during the current year. The board also cautioned the concerned construction company and NHIDCL officials present at the meeting that any delay in completion of the roads would not be viewed leniently in future.

Meeting also discussed and took assessment over the HSLC & HSSLC exam 2026 results of GHS & GHSS in Phek district, and the House led by the Chairman DPDB, Kudecho Kamo commented the three GHS and one GHSS under Phek district for securing 100% pass percentage in the HSLC & HSSLC Exam.

The board also welcomed and introduced newly posted officers and members of the DPDB, Zapuno Khatso, ADC Chozuba; Seliya Tep, Asst. Sericulture Officer and Kelhouzakie Chielie, District Horticulture Officer.
