In view of the onset of monsoon season and as a pre-monsoon preparedness measure, a mass social work was conducted at Medziphema sub-division on 21st may 2026. During the mass social work all government offices, institutions, village councils, GB's and the general public actively participated in this mass social work.
The following points was taken care during the mass social work - 1. Clearance of construction materials and debris. 2. Unclogging of drainage. 3. Clearance of foliage and waste disposal. 4. Cleaning public spaces and utilities.
Medziphema Administration and MTC provided assistance in clearing the garbage and executed the mass social work finely. The mass social work was a great success with active participation from all government offices, institutions, business establishments, village councils and the public.
