Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, has informed that in view of the ongoing excavation works at Chainage 101 +060 to Chainage 101 +161 (Losatephe and Lanehzo Village) under package - V of the Kohima - Jessami Road, vehicular movement of all types along the said stretch shall remain completely restricted from 10th June - 2026 to 14th June 2026 between 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, as a precautionary measure for the safety of the general public.
During the period commuters are advised to utilized the alternate route via Pfutsero - Porba - Sakraba - Khomi - Phek village - Lanezho and vice versa.
