In view of the proposed official visit of the Governor of Nagaland to the Eastern Districts and Meluri District from 5th to 10th July 2026, the Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire has convened a coordination meeting of all Heads of Offices on 26th June 2026, Friday at 12:00 Noon in the DPDB Hall, Kiphire.

The meeting will review the preparedness of all departments and deliberate on matters pertaining to the successful conduct of the Governor’s visit. The circular, signed by DC Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, states that the meet follows the Commissioner's letter No. CN/CON/TOUR/2019/133 dated 20th June 2026.

All Heads of Offices have been directed to attend the meeting personally and without fail. The DC has clarified that deputation of representatives will not be permitted except under exceptional circumstances with prior approval from the undersigned.

All departments are further instructed to arrive with the latest updates on departmental activities, achievements, ongoing projects, key issues, and any other relevant information. Departments must also ensure that records, presentations, briefing notes and other documents are updated and readily available for review during the visit.

The circular emphasizes that the meeting is being convened to ensure seamless coordination among stakeholders and effective planning for the proposed gubernatorial tour. Punctual attendance and active participation have been sought from all concerned.
