In view of the onset of monsoon and the need to ensure cleanliness, proper drainage and preparedness against monsoon related hazards, the Deputy Commissioner Noklak has served a circular informing citizens to conduct District -wide Mass Social Work on 3rd July 2026 (Friday) from 6.00 AM onwards.

All government department, educational institutions, NTC, village council, ward authority, Civil Society Organisations, students’ bodies and the general public are requested to actively participate in the social work within their respective jurisdiction.

The activities shall include clearing of drainage and culverts, clearance of road site vegetation, removal of silt, debris and wash materials, geo tag- photographs of work may be share to 8974726185.

The following department are assigned to carry out the following activities.
1.EE PWD (R&B)/Ward Chairman - Clearance of drainage on Roadside.
2.SDO/JE (Power) - Check Electric pole.
3.CMO Medical - Spray disinfectant/Mosquito repellent in required areas.
4.SDEO Education/School heads - Keep School surroundings clean and healthy.
5.Forest Ranger/ward - Check trees susceptible to Strom in and around the settlement.
6.APRO - Public announcement.
