In pursuance to the directive issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Nagaland will be organizing Child Aadhaar Enrolment Camp for children aged 0-5 years in the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Nagaland, Kohima and District Economics and Statistics Offices (DESOs) across the State from 3rd to 14th August, 2026.

The Aadhaar Linked Birth Registration for children aged 0-5 years will ensure that every child is registered at birth and linked with Aadhaar. The early registration of children in the national identity system will ensure their inclusion in various government services and welfare schemes and help support better planning and delivery of child-centric programmes.

The Department requests the parents or legal guardians of eligible children to come forward and enroll your child for Child Aadhaar by visiting the designated enrolment centres available at the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Nagaland, Kohima and DESOs across the state.
