The District Water and Sanitation Mission Committee (DWSMC) meeting was convened at the officer chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng on 10th November 2022 under the Chairmanship of DC Longleng, Dharam Raj, IAS.

The DC highlighted the importance of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). He urged the Rural Development Department, PHED and Water Resources Department to submit the detailed reports along with cost breakup of the convergence projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission within a week.

Dharam Raj further suggested for field visits to verify the completed projects from 21st November onwards.

He directed the PHE department to prepare time schedule for the field visits in the district. He also asked the RD and PHE department to accompany the district administration during the field visits.
