On the last day of the filing of nomination for the Nagaland Assembly election to be held on 27th February 2023, Er. T. Thomas Konyak as INC candidate and Tahwang Ang as NPF candidate filed their nomination papers for 41 Tizit A/C on 7th February 2023. 

Sitting MLA, P. Paiwang Konyak, BJP candidate filed the nomination papers on 6th February 2023.
