The Peren district Administration and the District Skills Committee in collaboration with Microsoft philanthropies aim to impart skill training to women and youth of the district on the Microsoft Diversity skilling programme and the training will have the following modules. Digital productivity, Employability skills, Communication Skills & Entrepreneurial skills. Deputy Commissioner Peren Vineet Kumar IAS also informed that after the successful completion of the training, all the candidates will be presented with a certificate from Microsoft. And the training aims to upskill and impart professional training. It also said that they would be given hand-holding to find job placements after the training. The training eligibility age group is between 16-35 years. And the training course duration will be 40 -140 hours depending on the curriculum and those who can access the training are women and youth. DC Peren also informed that the training venue will be intimated later and the deadline for submission of application is given by 15th July 2023.
