In a Public Notice issued by the Deputy Commissioner Office Kohima, all traffic will be restricted from traveling from TCP Gate (South) to Razhu Point (North) through NST/Old NST from 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM in view of the upcoming Night Carnival at Kohima Town during the period of 1st to 10th December 2023.

In this regard, details of the restriction and suggested alternative route have been presented as follows:- For Light Motor Vehicles ( LMVs) /two-wheelers within Kohima Town area, Detour from Y Junction - Khuochiezhie (local ground) - Razhu Point.

For City buses, all buses proceeding down from BOC /PR Hill will take Y - Junction - Post Office - DC Office - Assam Rifle gate - Ao Church and to return to BOC/PR Hill side. The drop point for passengers will be at the periphery of the local ground gate. Buses will proceed further and park at the normal parking area i.e opposite to Oking Hospital.

All buses proceeding up from High School will take a roundabout from Razhu Point to return to the High School side. The drop point for the passengers will be at Razhu Point and buses shall proceed to the parking place at Keziekie.
