A comprehensive 10-day Special Awareness Campaign conducted from September 2nd to 12th, culminated on 12th September, 2025 under Chumoukedima district. It was organised by the Social Welfare Department, under the SANKALP: District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao – MISSION SHAKTI. 

The campaign took place across various locations in Chumoukedima, reaching out to community members, women beneficiaries, students, and local vendors. Each day was dedicated to a specific theme, focusing on different aspects such as legal rights, health and nutrition, gender sensitization, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act, POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act, Girl or Women excelling in STEM field and vocational skills.
