In continuation to the Directorate of School Education Notification, the Principal Director of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that the modalities for the implementation of the provisions of the ‘Nagaland Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (Manner of admission of Minimum 25 % children in Class I or Pre-school at the entry level for the children belonging to disadvantaged groups and weaker sections) Rules, 2016’ are being formulated by the Department. 

Therefore, all concerned have been informed to wait for the notification regarding the modalities for the implementation of the provisions of Section 12 (1) (C) of the RTE Act, 2009. Till such time, this Office Notification of even number dated 12th April 2023 shall be kept on hold.
