The Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021 for fixing accountability of the School Management in the matter of the Safety of Children studying in all schools including both Government and Private Schools in Nagaland notified by the Government of Nagaland vide Notification No. DSE/MISC/SAFETY/12-12/2022 Dated 29th November 2022 have come into force from the date of issue of the aforementioned notification by the Government.  

Heads of all categories of Schools (Government/ Private/ KV/ JNV/ CBSE/ CISCE/ EMRS) functioning within the State of Nagaland have been informed to download a copy of the Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021 made available at the Department’s website https://education.nagaland.gov.in and also at the Department’s Online Education Services Portal https://dosenl.in. 

School Heads may sensitize all stakeholders regarding the Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, and ensure the safety of children studying in their schools.
