Principal Secretary and Development Commissioner, Amardeep S. Bhatia has informed that various preparatory activities for the Second Chief Secretaries' Conference are required to be carried out in accordance with the directions given in the meeting taken by the Cabinet Secretary on 27th October 2022, and D.O. No. M-12017/8/2022- S-Co dated 2nd November, 2022 from the Chief Executive Officer, NITI Aayog addressed to Chief Secretary.
In order to carry out the activities, vide Order of even number dated 4th November, 2022, Chief Secretary, Nagaland has assigned the responsibilities of the Lead with Asangla Imti, Secretary H&FW Nagaland as the Co-Lead for the area 'Non-Communicable Diseases-Nutrition, Lifestyle and Management'.
He further stated that a State-Level Workshop on the area will be organized at 2:00 PM on 9th November 2022 in the Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima. All AHoDs and HoDs of the concerned departments along with the concerned officers and identified experts are requested to participate in the Workshop. Principal Director, H&FW is requested to ensure that Program Officers In-charge of NPCDS, Tobacco Control Program, Mental Health Program, AYUSH, Food Safety and IEC Division also participate in the Workshop.
The discussions in the Workshop will be based on the following:
- Background Note on 'Non-Communicable Diseases-Nutrition, Lifestyle and Management' a provided by NITI Aayog
- Template 2: Feedback Note (by all IAS Officers/ State Department Officers)
As required, the Background Note and the Template 2 may kindly be circulated to all Group A officers of the respective department by the HoD. It is required that the filled in template is obtained and compiled from at least 10% of the Group A officers. The compiled Templates must be submitted on or before the 9th December, 2002,10 a.m. without fail via email to Dr Mereninla Senlem, Joint Director and SPO, NHM (Contact No: 9436005609, Email id wwwmerenla@gmail.cnm).
The AHoD and HoDs of Health and Family Welfare, Social Welfare, School Education, Urban Development, Higher Education, IPR, Youth Resources, Food and Civil Supplies, Kohima Smart City are requested to attend the workshop. Director/Managing Director/Proprietor of CIHSR, Oking, Eden, and Zion Hospitals are also requested to participate in the workshop.
