In view of the forthcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023, and in compliance with the directives of the Election Commission of India, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Phek has issued an Order for suspension of Free Movement Regime (FMR) along the international border under Meluri Sub-Division from 24/02/2023.

Therefore, it was directed that the Border Guarding Forces shall intensify their vigil along the international border and carry out intensive area domination exercises.
