Temporary bridge over the Dzuma River located between Jharanipani and Molvom on the Peren Road was washed away following incessant rainfall and subsequent flooding, Aotula T. Imchen, IPS, Dimapur Commissioner of Police informed through a traffic advisory issued on August 25, 2026.

In a traffic advisory, the Dimapur Commissioner of Police, said vehicle movement along the route had been restricted with immediate effect in the interest of public safety. The restriction will remain in place until further notice.
