On the last date of filing nomination papers for the upcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election, three more candidates and three standby candidates under Kohima district filed their nominations papers to their respective Returning Officers on 7th February 2023.

From 9 Kohima Town A/C, Thekrulhoulie Abao Kire, substitute candidate for Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire NDPP candidate filed his nomination papers before Returning Officer SDO (C) Sadar Kohima. Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome NDPP candidate along with Kelhouneizo Yhome as his standby candidate from 10th Northern Angami-1 A/C filed their nomination papers before the Returning Officer and ADC Kohima. Seyievilie Sachu, contesting on INC ticket from 11 Northern Angami-II A/C filed his nomination papers before the Returning Officer & ADC Chiephobozou. From 15-Southern Angami-II A/C, Er. Zale Neikha, who is contesting from NCP ticket along with Neisuho Chaya as his standby candidate filed their nomination papers before the Returning Officer & SDO (C) Jakhama. Neizosieo Rhutsu substitute candidate for Medo Yhokha NDPP Candidate from 14-Southern Angami-1I A/C also filed his nomination papers before the Returning Officer and SDO (C) Jakhama.

Altogether, fourteen candidates along with five standby candidates have filed their nomination papers till the closing day of the nomination.
