The Tseminyu District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 16th October 2026 at DC’s Conference Hall, Tseminyu. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC Tseminyu, Japheth Woch.

The DC welcomed all the members present and informed about the visit of Union Minister for Panchayati Raj, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry in the district. He informed that the Union Minister will visit the NECTAR (Light House), Hospital and one Village in the district. The meeting reviewed the previous meeting minutes and deliberation on Reform Utsav.

During the meeting, the proposal for registration of Lyu Ron Society of Phenshunyu Village was approved and forwarded to the government. The board further approved the upgradation of Sub-Industries Centre to District Industries Centre (DIC) at Tseminyu. The District Administration has officially declared, the Phenwhenyu village and Zusinyu village as Child Marriage Free Villages in the district during the meeting.

The DC also handed over the Child Marriage Free Villages Certificates to Phenwhenyu and Zusinyu village.
