In view of the massive landslide between Zunheboto town and Satakha town along the Zunheboto - Chakabama two-lane road and in order to facilitate the early clearance of debris and as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury and loss of life, Deputy Commission Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanuda Mali, IAS has informed that the stretch of road from Zunheboto town to Satakha town shall remain closed for all forms of traffic movements till further order.

Anyone wishing to travel from Zunheboto to Kohima/Dimapur or vice versa is hence advised to take alternative routes via Zungti - Kandinyu JN or Zhekiye - Ghukiye Xuivi Kohima JN or Suruhuto - Alichen/Yangli road.
