During the convocation ceremony, Kovi Meyase extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates. He urged them to take immense pride in their accomplishments and emphasized the importance of honest hard work in securing employment.
Meyase drew attention to the alarming unemployment rate among youths in the state, reporting that as of April 2023, the state had 70,000 unemployed youths, ranking fourth in the country. He urged the graduates to broaden their horizons beyond white-collar jobs, encouraging them to venture into different fields and be willing to take risks in their pursuit of employment.

Meyase also expressed gratitude to the Principal and staff of GITI Kohima for their contributions and celebrated their achievement of a remarkable 98% pass rate.
Er. Enchiba Longkumer, Principal of GITI Kohima, extended a warm welcome to the guest of honor, dignitaries, students, and attendees.
