Addl. CS & Chief Resident Commissioner, Nagaland House, New Delhi, Jyoti Kalash has written to the Addl. Commissioner of Police, PERS, SPUNER, New Delhi requesting for expeditious investigation into the mysterious death of two Naga individuals at Gurugram on 24th June, 2021.
Kalash stated that a lady named Rosy Sangma died in Alpha Hospital, Sec-10 Gurugram on June 24th, 2021, after consuming ice-cream while she was in the ICU, while Samuel Sangma, brother of the deceased lady, was also found dead, allegedly hanging himself from the ceiling in the hotel at Gurugram, where he was staying. He said that both the deaths are mysterious in nature and the father of Samuel Sangma has narrated the entire incident by recording himself in which he has given the reference of a video made by his brother-in-law during the altercation of Samuel Sangma with the Doctors /Nurses in the hospital.
He also said that the said video-recording has been going viral on social media and that the incident is very shocking and disturbing. He added that it questions the safety and security of the North-East people in Delhi/Gurugram, where many NE People work.
Jyoti Kalash stated that the Nagaland Government has expressed deep anguish over the incident, which may cost unrest in Nagaland, in particular and in the entire North East, in general. He requested the Addl. Commissioner of Police, being in-charge of SPUNER, to expedite the investigation and bring-out the truth behind the mysterious deaths of the two Naga individuals and submit a detailed investigation report to his office for onward submission to the state Government of Nagaland at the earliest.
