Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Government of India, Kapil Moreshwar Patil inaugurated the Farmer’s Market at T.Khel Model Village, Kohima on 29th October 2021 in the presence of Minister for Rural Development, Metsubo Jamir and other officials.

The Farmer’s Market is a wayside amenity that sells both organic produces and handicrafts and also has a restaurant to cater for tourists. The market is meant to meet the requirements of the villagers for market linkages issues by gathering the organic products of the farmers of Nagaland so as to create opportunities for the Self Help Groups, the BLOs of NSRLM and farmers of T. Khel village as a way to create a platform to generate revenue.
