Kawimaningsiliu from Peren district was crowned Miss Nagaland, 2021 in a ceremony held at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma on 20th December 2021. She also won the sub-title ‘Queen of Hearts.’ The event was organised by the Beauty &Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN). The event also marked the 30th anniversary of the BASN.

Lika Chophy from Zunheboto and Lovi Awomi from Dimapur were crowned the first and second runners up respectively. Miss Nagaland won a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh besides becoming the brand ambassador of Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), and will also receive allowance for a year.
