The Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) combined its monthly session with a pre-Christmas outing at Zungki Valley near Kiusam Bridge on December 2, 2023, resonating with the theme "You Are the Reason for the Season."

Chaired by Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, John Tsulise Sangtam, the meeting commenced with a warm welcome to DPDB members. The Vice Chairman expressed gratitude for the members' contributions and thanked the Council of Phelungre Village for hosting the meeting and facilitating arrangements.

During the session, the DPDB members approved the construction of a rostrum at the public ground in Phelungre Village. The decision was made with a commitment to enhance community infrastructure, and plans were set in motion to collaborate with relevant departments for its implementation.

The Deputy Commissioner urged members not only to celebrate Christmas joyfully but also to actively contribute to society. He extended heartfelt wishes for a meaningful Christmas with families and anticipated the return of all members in good health for their future responsibilities.

ADC Kiphire, D. Robin chaired the meeting and the session also featured a special presentation by Senti Longchar, District Health Officer, Kiphire.
