KOHIMA DISTRICT LEVEL MEETING ON I-DAY HELD

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS convened a meeting with district officers from various departments at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima on 2nd August 2021 to discuss the work distribution and other logistic arrangements in regard to the celebration of Independence Day at New Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on 15th August 2021.

Reviewing the State level meeting minutes on the distribution of works, the meeting discussed on various assigned works to be taken care at the district level where concerned departments gave confirmation on the work assigned to them. Arrangement of participants for cultural troupes and football exhibition match and others in various segments of the programme were also made confirmed by the concerned departmental officers during the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner also asked all the district officers to take it seriously as Government servant and to be responsible in respective line of duties in order to celebrate the Independence Day in a befitting manner. He also informed that visitation of Institutions/Homes for charitable work will not be carried out this year.
