LAYING OF ANNUAL ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS/ RULES
Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio laid the Annual Administrative Reports 2022-2023 of the following Departments on the fourth day of the first session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
i. Personnel and Administrative Reforms
ii. Fisheries & Aquatic Resources
iii. Transport
iv. Soil & Water Conservation
v. Nagaland Public Works Department
vi. Sericulture
vii. Information & Public Relations
viii. Information Technology & Communication.
Rio also laid the Nagaland Lokayukta Annual Report, 2022 and Nagaland Ceiling on Government Guarantee Rules, 2022.
Annual Administrative Reports of Tourism; Environment, Forest & Climate Change and Horticulture Department were also laid by the respective Ministers on the fourth day of the first session of the 14th NLA.
Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio also presented the Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2022 -2023. Further, he laid the Review of the Trends in Receipts and Expenditure for the First, Second and Third quarter of the year 2022-23, as required under Section 11 of the Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, 2005.
Rio also moved for consideration of the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax (Sixth Amendment) Bill and the Nagaland Fire & Emergency Services Bill, 2021 which were introduced in the House on 23rd March 2023. The House agreed for both the Bills to be passed.
