Legislatures from Mokokchung district, Minister for Housing and Mechanical, Tongpang Ozukum and Imnatiba, Advisor for Industries &Commerce, Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship held meeting with the District Task force headed by the Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir at the ADC Planning conference hall on 25th April2020. The meeting reviewed and discussed on the preparedness of Task force in the District in the eventuality of possible outbreak of COVID-19 in the district.

Preparedness activities like COVID Hospital status, Quarantine facilities and disposal of dead bodies’ return of stranded students/people to the district were thoroughly discussed. Addressing the meeting the Minister appealed all concern to contribute ones best. He also assured that he along with colleagues will pursue the grievances at higher level if there is any and asked the members to sensitize the general public especially the rural populous on the do’s and don’ts in fight against the dreaded virus.

The meeting was also attended by representative from Ao Senden, ABAM, and NGOs.
