The Longleng District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) convened its monthly meeting on October 7th, 2023, at the DPDB hall in Longleng. The meeting was presided over by Dharam Raj, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, and Vice Chairman of DPDB Longleng.

The session commenced with a thorough review of the minutes from the previous meeting, ensuring that ongoing discussions and commitments were accounted for.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner extended his gratitude to all Heads of Offices for their contributions to the establishment of the Serenity Home (Rehabilitation/Detox) center by the PBCA. This acknowledgment highlights the collaborative efforts and commitment of various departments in supporting community initiatives.

Representatives from key departments, including the H&FW Department, Food and Civil Supply Department, Power Department, and Agriculture Department, presented updates on their respective departmental statuses, emphasizing their ongoing projects and initiatives.

Nilopu Zhimomi, Branch Manager of Nagaland Rural Bank, provided an informative presentation through a PowerPoint on the facilities and services offered by the bank. This presentation aimed to make the attendees aware of the available banking resources and support for the community.
