The District Planning & Development Board, Longleng convened its monthly meeting at the DPDB hall, Longleng on 9th October 2025. The meeting was chaired by the MLA & Chairman DPDB Longleng, A. Pongshi Phom.

The MLA, Pongshi emphasized the importance of the Government employees and appealed to be sincere and work diligently for the upliftment of Longleng district. He also urged the members to monitor and supervised their employees to be in the station, and be available in the office during working days for the welfare of the people. 

DC, Longleng, W. Manpai Phom welcomed the new members and reviewed the minutes of the previous DPDB meeting and highlighted the agendas of the day. While reviewing the agenda for grant-in-aid demanded by the Vision Vale School, Longleng, the board agreed to forward the proposal to the concerned department. The board also forwarded the proposal for the creation of Police Outpost at Yongnyah EAC HQ. under Longleng District. He DC further informed the board members regarding the visit of Union Minister of State for Power & Renewal Energy to Longleng district and apprised all the department officers to be ready with their departmental activates.

Executive Engineer for Water Resources Department (WRD), Longleng Division, Sutemo Kikon presented the departmental activities through PowerPoint presentation. He outlined the department's initiatives under various villages of the district.

The Public Health Engineering Department, Longleng will present their activities during the next DPDB meeting. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the DC.
