Election Expenditure Monitoring Team held a meeting on 12th January 2023 at DC’s Conference Hall, Chumoukedima.

The meeting was held for preliminary review of the preparedness for the forthcoming assembly elections. DC & DEO, Chumoukedima, Abhinav Shivam, IAS chairing the meeting, highlighted to the team that the main function of the Election Expenditure Monitoring Team is to curb the use of money power during elections. He also mentioned the roles and responsibilities of the Election Expenditure Monitoring Team, and further appealed to the teams to go through the manual book for better understanding of their duties.
