The Angami Sekrenyi cum Mini-Hornbill festival will be celebrated at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama with Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio as the special guest on 25th February 2022.

In this connection, a meeting was convened by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS with all frontal units under Angami Public Organisation (APO) along with district administrative officers and related government departments on 22nd February 2022.

The meeting held in DC's Conference Hall Kohima was attended by Angami Public Organisation (APO), Angami Women Organisation (AWO), Angami Gazette Officer Krotho (AGOK), Angami Students Union (ASU), and government officials.  

Chairing the meeting, DC informed the members of the earmarked amount received from the government for the festival, which was later handed over to the APO to organize the festival. He invited the members to share their suggestions on how best it can be celebrated in a befitting manner.

            APO enlightened the members on the status of preparation and arrangements made at Kisama as per the norms laid down by the government. It also informed that the festival will be a two-day affair with cultural activities where day one will be held at Kisama and day two will be at Tuophema Tourist Village on 26th February 2022.

AGOK members and other members also shared their views and suggestions during the meeting.
