Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir who is also the chairman of District Level Implementation Committee convened a meeting for mobilizing the unorganized workers and undertaking registration drives in the district for enrolment as directed by the Central Government. The meeting was held at ADC Planning Hall, Mokokchung on 12th October 2021.

The meeting discussed on e-Shram Portal developed by the Central Government for the entire country for creating a national data base of unorganized workers in the country. The meeting also discussed on the strategy for enrolment of unorganized workers in the district, mobilization of target sub-group of unorganized workers through respective line department,  plan registration camp at the town block and village level and site where potentials unorganized workers are concentrated.

A PowerPoint presentation was also presented by Project Officer, office of the Labour Commissioner Kohima, T. Chubayanger.
