Mock drill was held at District Hospital Kiphire in preparedness for management of COVID-19 patients on 28th April 2020.
There were different stage process of the mock drill which included:
- Bringing the patients by ambulance to the COVID 19 hospital where the patients were send for testing.
- Sample collection where the Lab Technician take the swab sample and seal the VTM and hand over to the designated police personnel for transporting to laboratory, later the dead body were sealed following standard management guidelines and handover to the relative and they also demonstrate about the bio medical waste management. This was how the mock drill was demonstrated by the medical department of Kiphire.
