Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS on 25th January 2021 issued a circular notifying that the National Immunization Day (NID) or "Polio Ravivar" will be conducted in Mon from 31st January 2021 to 2 February 2021. 

The inoculation drive will administer two drops of bivalent Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) to all infants and children between the age 0-5 years of age. Teams will be in identified Polio Booths on 31st January 2021 followed by house to house activities on 1st & 2nd February 2021. 

All Village Functionaries/Town/Ward Committee Members have been directed to motivate and mobilise the beneficiaries (0-5 years) to get the vaccine and ensure that no child is left out in their respective jurisdiction.
