Additional Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer Tuensang Town Council Thungchanbema Tungoe NCS through a notification stated that an election is to be held of a member to wad No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 of the Tuensang Town Council, with ward No. 3, 6, 9, 12 & 15 reserved for women.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Peren Vineet Kumar IAS has notified that in view of the successful completion of the General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, the prohibition of carrying Licensed arms in public places as a preventive measure has been lifted under Peren District.
