In view of the conduct of the upcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023 Additional Deputy commissioner (DC) Tuensang, Thungchanbemo Tungoe has constituted a Medical Board in respect of Tuensang district with the following mentioned officers to examine and issue medical certificates to the government servants who may apply for exemption from election duty on the medical ground:

ADC Pfutsero, Jopheth Woch has ordered that all the arms license holders under the Pfutsero subdivision to report to the concerned Police station between 9 am-3 pm latest by 31st January 2023 with arms/ammunition and license booklet for physical verification.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Shanavas C has informed the general public that due to the encroachment of the National Highways by Street Vendors, hawkers, etc.

A two-day orientation workshop for the State of Nagaland on Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) 2022 kicked started on the 13th January 2023 at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima.

The Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021 for fixing accountability of the School Management in the matter of the Safety of Children studying in all schools including both Government and Private Schools in Nagaland notified by the Government of Nagaland vide Notification No. DSE/MISC/SAFETY/12-12/2022 Dated 29th November 2022 have come into force from the date of issue of the aforementioned notification by the Government.  

DC Kohima Shanavas C, in a circular, has informed the general public and parents under Kohima District that the online registration for appearing in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for the Session 2023-2024 for Class VI will be conducted on 29th April 2023 and the last date for submission of application is 31st January 2023. In this regard, DC Kohima has informed all the interested candidates to do the same as per the notification served.
