Chief Minister Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio graced the 60th Statehood Day celebration at the Secretariat Plaza Kohima on 1st December 2022.

On the occasion of the 60th Statehood Day programme, 7 (seven) contingents took part in the ceremonial parade, led by Parade Commander, Z. James Sema, Deputy Commandant, 4th NAP Battalion, and Second-in-Command Rukulu Tunyi, Assistant Commandant, 4th NAP Battalion.

On the occasion of the 60th Statehood Day programme, the Women Resources Development Department presented a dance performance, titled ‘We are the Nagas.’ The Children Choir (School Education Department) performed a special song titled, ‘We are warriors.’

Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and Chief General Manager, North East Circle, State Bank of India, Vincent Menachery jointed handed over the loan sanction letters to 11 (eleven) entrepreneurs through the President of the Business Association of Nagas (BAN), L.

On the occasion of the 60th Statehood, Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio flagged off the Nagaland Police Special Operations Group (SOG) vehicles.

Jio has joined the world-famous Hornbill Festival this year also as the digital partner, in association with the Department of Tourism and Information Technology & Communication, Government of Nagaland. This is the 6th year of Jio’s association with the Hornbill Festival which is held at the Naga Heritage Village Kisama.
